The talented Jeanne Stephenson of Destination Yarn in Cleveland, Ohio has done it again. The Great Lakes Collection transports you to one of shop owner Cathy’s favorite places, captured as only Destination Yarn can. Inspiration is plentiful with our blue-focused selection of colors from this collection. Each color stands alone but the combinations are incredible!
We have five color ways available in the shop.
*Lake Superior – the deepest, darkest, most luscious blue.
*Frozen Great Lake– a mix of white, warm greys, and icy blues that represent the slushy winter tundra of The Great Lakes.
*Lake Michigan – a beautiful, tonal navy.
*November Witch – a combination of blues, browns, and white symbolize the ‘witches’, the strong autumnal winds that blow over The Great Lakes.
*Lake Erie – blue, brown, green, and silver reminiscent of the ever-changing colors and personality of this lake.
All five color ways are available in two yarn weights. Postcard is a fingering/sock weight blend of 75% Superwash Merino Wool and 25% nylon, with a 4-ply construction and 460 yards per 100 gram skein. Souvenir is a 4-ply, 100% Superwash Merino Wool with 231 yards per 100 gram skein.
