Freebies with a Minimum $10 Pre-tax Purchase

The Auras Cowl-our free knit pattern

Your choice of our knit or crochet pattern is free with a $10 pre-tax purchase and your passport.

Our knit pattern is making its debut for the YDT! The Auras Cowl was designed by Coletta Pilato and features our 2025 exclusive color, North Coast Aurora Borealis. One skein of fingering weight yarn, a 24″ circular needle size 3.5mm/US4, and a few stitch markers are all you need to recreate this beauty for yourself. Want to make one in a different color? You are sure to find your perfect skein in our yarn paradise!

The Gaia Cowl-our free crochet pattern

Prefer crochet? The Gaia Cowl by Melissa Leapman is so soft and cozy. We’re loving this lacy texture. We used one skein of Kathmandu fingering weight yarn, available in a beautiful array of colors. We have a shop filled with other yarn choices too! A size F/3.75mm hook and a 100g skein are all you need to make one of your very own.

Black Locust Farm Prize Basket-over $170 value!

Would you like to win a prize basket valued at over $170? With yarn, fiber care, an exclusive Black Locust Farm mug, and lots of other goodies, this prize basket is a fiber enthusiasts dream. With your minimum purchase, you are entered into our shop prize basket drawing!

Progressive Pattern Project Free Pattern

Free progressive patterns-just present your passport.

New to the YDT this year, present your passport to receive a different progressive block pattern at each shop. Assemble them into a blanket, tote, or other make to commemorate your 2025 tour.

Our knit block, The Knitted Little Diamonds with Garter Edge Block, has such a lovely texture. The garter stitch border is optional and gives you flexibility with the finished size.

Our crochet block, The Bobble on Post Crochet Block, alternates rows of double crochet with rows of double crochets with bobbles. Chain spaces on either side of the posts highlight those special stitches and add to this block’s textured relief.

While You’re in Lodi…

Hungry? The shop’s favorite restaurant is Moxie’s Grille, which is less than a mile from the shop. On the square in Lodi you will find pizza, sandwiches, and a coffee shop. Other food choices are available at the Lodi exit of I-71, including a Bob Evans and numerous fast food eateries.

Lodi Town Square – right across the street from Black Locust Farm

Speaking of the Lodi Town Square, it is a beautiful place for a picnic, a walk, or to take a break from the road while enjoying a cup of coffee. Want to explore a little more while you are here? Among other things, the square is home to a bookstore, antique store, and, according to Cathy, the world’s best hardware store.
